K 11

This room is located in the ground floor of English Study Program of Sanata Dharma University. If you walk from motorcycle parking area, you will find the T-Junction. After finding the R-junction, you can turn left and go straight. There you will find the stairs, and then you can turn left. There are two rooms, which are Room K12 and Room K11. Room K11 is in the corner. The room is closed to K12 room in the south, the lecturer parking area in the north, pantry and the Lab 4 which are separated by the small garden in the west, and small path in the east.

The room is quite small. It only contains of several chairs and a table for the lecturer because it is usually used for small classes. There are three black boards without teaching aids, such as OHP and viewer in this room.

The room atmosphere is quite dark. There are only four windows facing the west. From the windows, you can see a small garden in front of Lab 4 and pantry. Since the room is quite dark and the sun light cannot get inside the room, therefore; you have to turn the light on every time you use the room.

The situation of the room is also quite noisy because it is nearer the lecturer parking area that is located in the north and pantry in the west.

Cheating technique in getting popular movie tickets

My hobby is watching movies, especially western movies. There were a lot of popular movies that I have watched. I usually watch movies at home or if it is a very extraordinary movie I sometimes go to the theater. Someday, my friends and I planned to watch a movie in XXI Theater. We were going to watch a very awesome movie titled "The Revenge of the Fallen". It was the next episode of Transformer movie. We decided to watch that movie at 07.00 p.m., but we had to buy the tickets in the morning. Therefore, we went to XXI Theater first to buy tickets.




My friend and I arrived at the theater at 09.00 a.m. to buy the tickets. I thought it was still in the morning, so we did not have to stand in line. At that moment, I was so shocked because the row was so long. There were so many people at that building. I thought that we would not get the tickets. However, we still wanted to stand in line and waited until we got the tickets. We had been waiting for fifteen minutes and the row was still long. We started giving up. I was also afraid that the tickets were sold out before we got it. So, I looked around for my friends I knew, but I got nothing. I did not find anybody. Still, my friends and I tried thinking another way. After discussing, we decided to ask somebody who had stood in the second or third line to buy the tickets for us. However, I did not want to do it. I thought it was so embarrassing idea. My friends forced me again and again. Finally, I did it. I asked a girl who stood in the second line. I asked her help to buy us the tickets. She said yes because she just bought two tickets for herself so, she still had allotment to buy eight more tickets. I was so happy at that time. Finally, we could watch our favorite movie. By experiencing that moment, now I have known cheating technique in buying popular movie tickets. I do not have to wait in line. I just entrust the tickets to someone and everything done.

Missing EWD was no problem at all

Every year, PBI Sanata Dhrma University has a certain event which is held to welcome the new students of this faculty. This event is called EWD (English Welcome Day). All new students have to join this event in order to know more about their new friends, seniors and PBI itself. When I was in the first year, I also had to join this event. It was kind of obligation program at that time. There were also a lot of requirements that must be full filled. At that time, I had to ask my seniors signs, bring "Indomie", candles and so many more. I had done with my requirements because I thought if I did not do that, my seniors would punish me.


At home, I thought that EWD must be so tiring so, I decided not to join it. In addition, I also did not like out bond activity such as camping. I was feeling doubt,whether join it or not. Finally, after talking with my friends who also planned not to join it, I decided 100 percent to stay at home and did not join EWD. However, I was still thinking about the consequences that I would get. Some of my friends had said that for everyone who does not join EWD, he or she must make a paper to be submitted to Kaprodi (The Chairman of PBI). I tried to ignore it and just missed EWD. Finally, I did not go to EWD event and just stayed at home. On Monday when everyone had returned from that event and come to the campus, I did not get any consequences or punishment also. I thought that missing EWD was actually no problem. However, I so regret because I missed one moment during my study in PBI.
